Become an instructor

We're an approved provider for Mountain Training's Bouldering Wall Instructor (BWI) qualification.

The BWI is the official qualification for anyone looking to instruct bouldering on artificial structures in the UK. It involves a one-day training course and then a three-hour assessment taken with an actual instructed group. If you want to get into coaching and instruction, this is the place to start.

Minimum age for training is 16, and for assessment is 18. To book a training course you must first have registered for the scheme with Mountain Training. See their website for full course details.
